Not a marketplace

Tell us the deal. We open the doors.

We don't sell you a catalog. In China, serious deals run on relationships — with factories, with counterparties, and with the government offices approvals run through. Seventeen years of them, and the judgment to know which door your deal actually needs.

Entering China

A global restaurant brand wants its first locations in China. The deal needs the right partner, the right licenses, the right districts — and introductions in Shanghai that make it real.

Resetting a supply chain

A Fortune 500 buyer suspects it's overpaying. The deal needs factory-gate truth on cost, requalified suppliers, and contracts that hold when volumes are serious.

Building in China

An industrial group wants to open a paper mill. The deal needs land, permits, equipment and people — and twenty years of knowing which factories deliver.

Deals like these don't live on a marketplace. They live on relationships — and a record.

How we work

Every deal runs on the Trail.

One private timeline. Visible to your deal's stakeholders — and no one else. Every step stays on the record, including ours.

The steps fit the deal. A production trail runs factory, inspection and freight; an M&A trail runs diligence, approvals and closing. The record works the same.

Questions

Asked before every good deal.

How is SilkNet different from a sourcing agent?

A sourcing agent typically earns on the factory side, where you can't see it. SilkNet is a trade house: paid by you alone, on your side of the table, and responsible for the whole deal — contracts, factory, quality, logistics and payment.

What is the Trail?

One shared timeline of your deal. NDA, identity verification, contracts, production, inspection, shipping and payment — every step visible to every stakeholder, permanently on the record.

How confidential is my deal?

Completely. Every engagement begins under NDA, and your trail is visible only to the stakeholders you approve — no one else. We never publish client names or deal details.

What kind of deals do you take?

Serious production programs, supply-chain deals, M&A and market entry — any deal where a global company needs China done right, and getting it wrong is expensive. We don't do marketplace reorders or dropshipping. Engagements typically start at US$1M.

How do you charge?

One fee, agreed with you before the deal starts. We are paid by you alone — never by the factory, never inside the price.

How are payments protected?

Funds move on milestones — held and released as each step on the trail is met, not before.

Where do you operate, and in which languages?

We are native in Chinese and English, with presence in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Wuhan, Thailand and the United States.
